To patch those holes in the industrial areas which are bizarre and becoming the painful throats in the path line of the progress. And the mission does not end till the students do not develop their sturdiness to tide over all the Viruses and Trojans screaming throughout the industrial lines.

The ultimate goal is to explore our talents in the field of information technology as an efficient team player in the software industry where we can use best of our knowledge and contribute maximum efficiency to provide proficient software professionals in all fields.

About Department:

In the growing digital phenomenon all over the world, MCA program of study provides a great covenant to promote IT industries in every field from small office to even in the film industries for better management and productivity of these fields.

The MCA course was started in this college in 1993 with due approval of AICTE, Sambalpur University and Govt. of Orissa, Department of Industries, under self-financed basis. The faculty in various Engineering departments of the college, guest faculties from nearby institutes and some contractual lecturers impart teaching to the students. It is a six semester course leading to a master degree in computer application (MCA). Every year 30 students are taken through the Joint Entrance Examination (MCA-JEE), Orissa.
