Electrical Engineering Society

The Electrical Engineering Society of VSSUT, BURLA was constituted on Nov. 1986. Electrical Engineering Society, is a student organization of the Department of Electrical Engineering, VSSUT Burla. Society deals with the problems of the students, analyses them and place them before faculty for their advice. There is a representative of every year from B. Tech. to handle the corresponding problems and the queries of the students.  Society organizes the Fresher’s welcome cum orientation for newly joined students and farewell meeting for final students every year. Society also organizes A National Level Student's Symposium "RESONANCE" every Year.

Resonance – A National Level Student’s Symposium

Resonance is the National Level Students Symposium cum Annual Branch Festival organized by Dept. of Electrical Engineering. It is targeted to bring together a tremendous and rich diversity of students from various Institute and speakers from academia and industry all over to share ideas and latest research in Electrical Engineering. This symposium provides a better platform to students, researchers from various sectors working in the field of Electrical Engineering and development to share their experience, views, and research findings to achieve better result in future. Students from Various Engineering Institutions Participating in this technical symposium.

Events in Resonance

  • Model presentation: A team of four had to present their model before the panel of jury
  • Circuit Debugging: Attempt was to judge the circuit knowledge of the participants
  • Robo-Soccer: Participants had to make robots kick and defend goals.
  • Electrohunt : Clues were supposed to guide the participants to electronic components.
  • JAM: One-minute talk on a given topic related to EE/EEE
  • Identikit: Identification of the kit from a real time image of electrical and electronic components.
  • Linedit: Robots were to be run tracked to black/white lines.
