The hackathon offers students an opportunity to work with mentors on practical challenges in 6G & Future Networks, Cloud Computing & IoT, Cybersecurity, Internet Measurement, and Smart Cities, with exposure to Internet technologies and technical standards.

Each team comprises two students and one faculty mentor, and selects one problem statement. The online phase runs from 1-31 October 2026, followed by regional rounds for shortlisted teams.

There is no restriction on the number of teams for a faculty member.
