1. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the Advertisement/Notice for Junior Engineer Examination, 2026, dated 02.09.2026, for recruitment to various posts in different Ministries/Departments/Organizations of the Government of India.

2. The SSC Junior Engineer Examination provides opportunities for eligible candidates in various technical disciplines. The examination traditionally covers core engineering disciplines such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. The Junior Engineer Examination, 2026 also includes opportunities in additional technical/scientific disciplines, including Computer Science, Physics and Telecommunication, as applicable to the respective posts and subject to the prescribed eligibility criteria.

3. In this regard, all AICTE-approved technical institutions are requested to widely disseminate the information regarding SSC Junior Engineer Examination, 2026 among eligible students/candidates of the institution, so that interested and eligible candidates may avail themselves of this opportunity.
